Your Hosts

We are Heather, Bradey, Alexa and Chloe. We have spent years traveling as a family and almost 2 years traveling full-time. We recently settled down in northern Italy building our home in the foothills of the Italian Alps. We are so excited to show you around some of our favorite cities in Italy!

Itinerary

Day 1: May 21, 2023

Fly into Venice (VCE)

2x airport transfers will be included at designated times (TBD)

We will meet as a group for a 6:30pm dinner and introduction to get to know everyone!

Spend the night in Venice.

Day 2: May 22, 2023

Breakfast at our hotel.

A visit to one of the most famous bakeries in Italy. Experience a traditional Italian espresso with the best croissant you will ever experience.

Walking tour of Venice. See all the best sites!

That afternoon/evening we will all enjoy a gondola ride

Throughout the day we will have other activities and we will show you the lesser known side of the venice walking streets.

Spend the night in Venice.

Day 3: May 23, 2023

Breakfast at our hotel.

We will all enjoy a picturesque boat ride to the island of Murano. Murano is famous for its glass making, so we will take a glass making tour and visit several quaint shops.

Bring your camera, because Murano is just as beautiful as the central part of Venice, yet much fewer tourist manage to venture out this far.

In the afternoon we will pack up and head to Tuscany via train or bus (TBD).

We will check into our villa and settle in for a relaxing dinner and an evening of hanging out and getting to know each other better!

Day 4: May 24, 2023

For our fourth day, we will have breakfast at the villa, and then head out for a Vineyard Tour! Even if you aren’t a fan of wine (we are slowly learning ourselves), a vineyard experience is fasinating and fun!

That evening we will enjoy dinner at our villa cooked for us by a private chef!

We are still planning the rest of this day and will update you soon!

Day 5: May 25, 2023

Have you heard of the Tuscany Hot Springs? No? Google it now. All I can say is… WOW.

Bring your bathing suit for this once in a lifetime experience!

Later that evening we will all take an Italian cooking class!

Day 6: May 26, 2023

We will head to Florence to experience one of the cultural capitals of Italy. Enjoy the beautiful walking streets and unique shops. Explore some of the history and some of our favorite lookout points. Have coffee and a pastry at what Bradey thinks is the best spot in all of Italy. We will all have dinner at a local restaurant.

More activities still being planned!

Day 7: May 27, 2023

Sadly, all good things must come to an end.
Today is our last day. Our final activities are being planned, but we will be checking out of the villa and transfering back to Venice.

For those who prefer to fly out of Florence instead, this is an option. For most people, it will be more affordable to fly in and of the same city, which is why we are providing transfers back to Venice. We want this to be as simple as possible for you! But if you prefer to stay in Florence and even extend your trip, this of course is an option!

Questions and Answers

Are flights included?

No, you will be required to book flights into Venice Airport (VCE).

Don’t worry, we won’t leave you hanging. We want to make this as easy as possible. I will be sending an email to everyone will some tips to book the flight as easily and as affordably as possible.

Who should come on this trip?

This trip is open to all ages and all types of adventurous people. We hope to attract people who both love travel and adventure, but also those who thrive in a group environment. We are going to be hanging out for 7 days together!

Who should NOT join this trip?

This trip is going to be incredible! But it won’t be for everyone. I want to be really transparent up front so that no one signs up for the trip expecting one thing but getting something else.

The dynamics of the group is a very important thing, so this answer is designed to help disuade someone from joining the trip if they are not a good fit.

DO NOT JOIN THE TRIP IF:

– You are glass half empy.

– If minor discomforts make you grumpy.

– If you expect everything to go perfectly.

– If you expect this to be a history tour.

– If you get mad if plans change last minute.

– If kids annoy you.

– If you struggle with mobility. Lots of walking will be required.

Is there a discount for kids joining?

Yes there will be a $500 discount for any children who share a room with their parents. This will be deducted from your final payment, not from the initial deposit.

Please email us with any child specific questions.

What does "double occupancy" mean?

If this is your first group trip, double occupancy is the standard way to book a group trip. If you are booking solo and book with double occupancy, then you will be paired with someone of the same gender to share a room with. If this makes you uncomfortable, and you don’t have someone else to join the trip with, then a single occupancy upcharge is available of $595. Personally, I would recommend keeping an open mind and making a new friend!

Cancellation Policy

Upon booking, a 50% deposit is required. This deposit is fully refundable until your spot and the trip is confirmed via email confirmation, at which point it becomes non refundable. If you cancel the trip after your trip is confirmed, and 90 days before the trip start date, you can receive a trip credit for your down payment minus a $250 cancellation fee. 60 days before the trip departure the remaining balance is due, which is non refundable. We do recommend trip insurance.

We reserve the right to cancel the trip for any reason. Please read full terms and conditions for more information.
